Vitamin B complex for your dog’s nervous system.
Strengthening of nerve performance and regeneration of the nerve cells. 100% vegan.
The nerve tracts run through the entire body Bodies and transmit impulses and stimuli. Damage to the nerve tracts can quickly lead to symptoms such as paralysis, coordination disorders, incontinence and shaking (tremor / head bobbing). But the nerves are also significantly involved in degenerative myelopathy, Addison's disease, a general weakness of the organism and dementia (see below for more).
In order for the nervous system, but also the metabolism and the immune system to function smoothly, it needs a constant supply of the most important B vitamins, which cannot always be fully guaranteed through a dog-typical diet . With DOG FIT by PreThis® VITAMIN B you can ensure a sufficient supply of vitamin B for your dog.
B vitamins strengthen (not only) nerve performance
The importance of B vitamins for dogs is often underestimated by dog owners and even many veterinarians do not point this out explicitly enough (which also has to do with the fact that they are only in a few cases nutrition experts and a certain lobby their Finger on it keeps earning good money at the TAs). The B vitamins are essential, i.e. vital. They are involved in many metabolic processes and are essential for the immune system and nerve performance. Age, illness and above all an undersupply due to feeding with ready-made food are just some of the reasons why supplementary feeding can become important.
DOG FIT by PreThis® VITAMIN B contains all vitamins of the B group: Vitamins B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B7 (biotin), B9 (folic acid) and B12. These can counteract a reduction in nerve performance, alleviate nerve inflammation and stimulate the regeneration of nerve cells through improved cell metabolism. So that the B vitamins can unfold their positive effects, it is important that they are dosed correctly in relation to each other.
B vitamins also contribute to the normal functioning of the heart, energy metabolism (they are involved in carbohydrate, protein and fat metabolism), blood formation, blood circulation, hormone balance, mental function, reduce symptoms of fatigue but also restlessness and many other things other important functions of the canine organism. B vitamins are essential for the entire organism.
Many dog owners are not aware of the importance of the vitamin B group for their dog's organism. As a result, many diseases are not treated appropriately and chemical medications are often resorted to too quickly.
Vitamin B incontinence
Incontinence is like us People, also very unpleasant for your dog. If the otherwise housebroken fur friend suddenly loses urine droplets, or also regularly drains a large puddle or faeces, wets or defecates while sleeping, that is usually a sign ;r that something is wrong with the nerve tracts.
Castration, a herniated disc, an operation or spondylosis (spondylosis deformans), for example, can be the cause. What they all have in common is that the nerve tracts can be injured and the signal transmission disrupted. In many cases, the aging process and the associated declining function of the nerve cells play a role in incontinence.
VITAMIN B for spondylosis
Spondylosis is a pathological condition Changes in the spine, in which first calcifications and then bony connections form between the vertebral bodies. Many dogs can live with it quite well, often unnoticed by the dog owner, but it can also lead to secondary symptoms such as incontinence, paralysis, shaking (tremor) or coordination disorders. These symptoms can be triggered by the nerve tracts damaged by the ossification of the spine.
Vitamin B for exhaustion and weakness
If the dog's organism lacks B vitamins, this can manifest itself in exhaustion and weakness. In the event of a deficiency, the dog's organism produces fewer red blood cells (erythrocytes) and their size changes. If the deficiency is not treated with the administration of B vitamins, anemia can develop, the so-called anemia.
Vitamin B for anxious and tense dogs
Also an anxiety and nervous tension (e.g. with fearful) can improve with the gift. B vitamins are involved in the energy metabolism and metabolism of the brain, which, among other things, influences the formation of serotonin. This messenger substance, insofar as it is sufficiently available, is jointly responsible for the alleviation of fears and inner restlessness.
Vitamin B for shaking (tremor)
A shaking (tremor / head -bobbing etc.) often has a neurological background and is usually a symptom and not the cause. Of course, harmless trembling with joy or cold is not one of them. While all of the causes of tremors are not fully understood, we now know that conditions such as osteoarthritis and spondylosis, as well as muscle weakness associated with age or disease, can also be a part. A weakened or injured nervous system always plays a major role. The supplementation of VITAMIN B is therefore an important part of therapy.
Vitamin B in dementia
Dogs can also do am Cognitive Dysfunction Syndrome (CDS), it is also known as Canine Alzheimer's. Proteins and fats in the brain can be damaged, resulting in the death of nerve cells. Unfortunately, as we age, the body's ability to repair this damage is reduced. The first symptoms of senile dementia can already appear in large dogs from around 6 years of age and in small dogs from around 10 years.
Indications of this include forgetfulness (e.g. the dog no longer recognizes old acquaintances), no longer reacting to being spoken to, uncleanliness and unlearning how to be housebroken, reduced indication of "having to go for a walk", incontinence , constant “up-and-down-or-running-in-circles” (mostly at night) or “wanting to come in”, increased barking, anxiety, irritability, aggression, difficult to stay alone, disorientation and apathy ("staring into space").
Unfortunately, dementia cannot yet be cured, but with our vitamin B complex, the nerve cells can be strengthened and, in the best case, progress can be slowed down. The so-called homocysteine level also plays an important role. The higher the homocysteine levels, the faster the disease can progress. Our high-dose vitamin B complex can lower homocysteine levels. The B vitamins also help protect cells from oxidative stress. So you can do something for your dog, that's pretty good news.
Vitamin B in epilepsy
Especially for large breeds , epilepsy can occur. Epilepsy is classified into two types: idiopathic and symptomatic epilepsy. In idiopathic epilepsy, no underlying cause of the seizures has been identified, and in symptomatic epilepsy, there is a pre-existing condition. However, that is the classic veterinary approach. Alternative but thoroughly successful approaches can be found, for example, in animal medicine. Unfortunately, epilepsy itself cannot be cured, but it can be treated very well in many dogs.
The vitamins of the B group have proven to be helpful alongside therapy, such as a lifelong substitution with biotin (vitamin B7), with which the prognosis is generally quite good. A vitamin B1 and vitamin B12 deficiency can also be partly responsible for triggering epileptic seizures. Our vitamin B complex has proven itself as a supplement in many cases.
Vitamin B for polyradiculitis
The nerve root inflammation affects ä Similar to Cauda Equina mostly larger dogs. It manifests itself mainly in weakness, movement disorders and paralysis of the hind legs. Unfortunately, the reason for this is still unknown. Fortunately, it rarely lasts long, but there are exceptions. The gift of our vitamin B complex supports the nerve cells in their regeneration.
Vitamin B in vestibular syndrome
This is what we mean by vestibular syndrome Occurrence of disturbances in the organ of balance (vestibular apparatus in the inner ear) or its connections to the central nervous system. The nerve impulses arising there are conducted via the vestibular nerves in the brainstem to the nerve cell nuclei of the vestibular apparatus (so-called vestibular nuclei). Vestibular syndrome occurs primarily in dogs and cats and is one of the most common neurological diseases. The causes can be varied, from an ear infection to inflammatory polyps. Here, too, the administration of our vitamin B complex has proven to strengthen the balance nerves.
Vitamin B in Addison's disease
With this disease, the adrenal cortex is damaged and this often happens through the body's own immune system and is therefore an autoimmune disease. Damage to the adrenal cortex is chronic and unfortunately cannot be cured - but it can be easily treated. With good treatment, dogs with Addison's disease can live as long as healthy dogs.
The two adrenal cortices produce vital hormones that ensure normal cell function in the dog's body, otherwise cell damage can occur. The consequences are e.g. gastrointestinal problems and problems with the energy metabolism (low blood sugar), disorders of the lipid metabolism, cardiac arrhythmia and a decreasing stress reaction. Paralysis, intestinal obstruction, weight loss, fatigue, tremors, general weakness and increased urination are also known symptoms. Accompanying Addison's disease, there is often a vitamin B deficiency, which can be compensated for with our VITAMIN B complex.
Vitamin B in diabetes
In this disease is particularly one A supply of the B vitamins B1, B6, B12 and folic acid (B9) is recommended. Studies show that they can protect dogs from possible complications of diabetes, such as damage to nerves and blood vessels.
Vitamin B for exhaustion and weakness
The canine organism lacks B vitamins , this can show up as exhaustion and weakness. In the event of a deficiency, the dog's organism produces fewer red blood cells (erythrocytes) and their size changes. If the deficiency is not treated with the administration of B vitamins, anemia can develop, the so-called anemia.

It is recommended to feed the capsule directly. If the dog does not accept the capsule, it can be opened and the contents sprinkled into the food or fed in a treat.
DOG FIT by PreThis® Vitamin B Complex should be stored out of the reach of children, in a dry place and protected from light, as B vitamins are sensitive to light.
Our products should be fed once a day. It does not matter whether this is in the morning or evening, together or separately. However, it is important to follow the dosage recommendation and give the product regularly.
Our products are free from undesirable additives, including genetic engineering, animal testing, gluten, fructose, yeast, soya, palm oil, flavourings, sugar, cereals and preservatives. They therefore fulfil the highest requirements for very good feed supplements.
We generally recommend the long-term use of our supplements, as supplements usually take a few weeks to develop their full effect. Continuous use is particularly important for problems with joints, the spine or intervertebral discs in order to achieve long-term results.
However, there are exceptions. For VITAL gastro, when used specifically to treat diarrhoea or soft stools, the recommended duration of use is usually around 5 days. This shorter duration refers exclusively to the underlying symptom. You can find more information on this in the "Use" section for the preparation VITAL gastro. For all other types of digestive and stomach problems or after worm or parasite infestation, VITAL gastro can be fed over a longer period of time without hesitation.
Preparations such as VITAL immune or VITAMIN B can also be fed only at times of high stress or prophylactically 2 to 3 times a year. Ultimately, however, the decision depends on your dog's individual needs and we are happy to help with this decision.
B vitamins are water-soluble vitamins, which means that they cannot be stored by the body. Instead, they are absorbed by the body as required and excess amounts are excreted via the urine.
The onset of effect depends on the type and severity of the underlying disease. It usually takes at least 6 weeks before the first positive effects can be noticed, possibly a little longer. Please be patient, as natural products need time to take effect.
Vitamin B is virtually odorless and tasteless.
For hygienic reasons, the capsules should preferably be mixed in with the food or hidden in a treat. However, if the dog does not want to or cannot swallow them, the capsule can be pulled apart so that the contents can be mixed into the food or given together with some yoghurt, cottage cheese or liver sausage. As the capsules often consist of additional collagen, we recommend soaking them in water and mixing them into the food, especially with our joint preparations.
Yes, the manufacture of our products is certified in accordance with HACCP ISO 9001 and therefore complies with the highest German guidelines.
One bag contains 60 capsules and is sufficient for up to 2 months or longer, depending on the weight of the dog. It is similar with powder products, please refer to the product under contents and dosage.
Preferably, you should add the capsule closed to the food. Only open the capsule if your dog does not want to swallow it and sprinkle the contents into the food. This has no influence on the effectiveness.
Your dog is initially hesitant to eat food with DOG FIT. In such cases, we recommend the following steps:
- Reduce the amount: If your dog does not accept powder or granular preparations, start with a smaller amount and gradually increase it. Some dogs need some time to get used to the new taste.
With capsule preparations, it is usually enough to open them and mix the contents with the food. This is not a problem and does not affect the effectiveness, as many ingredients require pre-digestion in the stomach in order to be fully metabolized in the intestines. Since the capsules often consist of additional collagen, it is particularly recommended for our joint preparations to soften them in water and mix them with the food. For very small dogs, we recommend this approach either way - unfortunately there are no mini capsules.
- Mix it with treats: You can also combine the DOG FIT preparations with treats to make the taste more pleasant for your dog. Popular options include liver sausage, cottage cheese and similar snacks.
By following these steps, you can help your dog get used to the supplement while benefiting from the health benefits that DOG FIT offers. Remember, patience is key.
By dividing the food into small, medium and large sizes, dogs can be given the right amount of nutrients to ensure optimal utilization. This prevents dogs from getting either too little or too much of certain nutrients, which can potentially lead to deficiencies or overdoses. A needs-based dosage is important for the health and well-being of the dog.
High-dose food supplements can be pointless in certain circumstances. On the one hand, they can be superfluous in a balanced and healthy diet, as the dog already receives all the necessary nutrients from the food. On the other hand, excessive doses of certain nutrients can even be harmful to the dog.
Another important factor is that the effect of high-dose food supplements has not been scientifically proven and is often only based on advertising claims and the subjective experiences of owners.

Our range includes pet food supplements.
They are not intended to cure diseases and do not replace a visit to the vet. Pet food supplements are not a substitute for a balanced and species-appropriate diet. They should be stored out of the reach of children, in a cool, dry place and protected from light. The recommended daily intake of supplementary pet food should not be exceeded.
Pre-existing conditions
If your pet already suffers from organic diseases, autoimmune disorders, intolerances, allergies, epilepsy etc. and may also be taking medication due to an illness, it is important to consult your vet before giving your pet supplementary foods. Our advice does not relate to the use of medications and their side effects or interactions. Please also consult the vet who prescribed the medication.
Important to know!
It is important to realise that natural pet foods often need to be given several weeks, and sometimes even longer, before a noticeable effect is seen. As with most natural products, this requires patience and perseverance. It is unlikely that you will notice an immediate effect within a few days or weeks. However, it is important to consider the use of pet supplements in combination with a healthy diet and lifestyle to achieve long-term results.
Painkillers - Please note!
It is important to consult your vet before administering painkillers. Unauthorised administration of painkillers such as aspirin, paracetamol or ibuprofen can have toxic effects in dogs and should be avoided. An overdose or improper use can have serious consequences and jeopardise your dog's health. Please contact your vet to determine the correct painkiller and dosage for your dog.
Interactions
If your dog is receiving medication from the vet for a medical condition and you are wondering if there are possible interactions with our products, it is important to note that this depends on the specific medication. Some chemical medications can have strong side effects, which makes a difference to possible interactions. First and foremost, interactions occur with chemical medications and are rare in combination with natural products, but cannot be completely ruled out. It is therefore advisable to always consult your vet before giving your pet supplementary foods.
Feed check
A feed check does not include individual nutritional advice with a feeding plan. The information provided by the nutritionist does not constitute a diagnosis, therapy or treatment, but is merely a review of the feed and a feed recommendation. The client is always responsible for his/her dog/cat. The nutritionist does not bear the risk for negative effects that have led to undesirable side effects in connection with the information and food recommendation provided. The client must be aware that a food check cannot replace a medical consultation or treatment. No previous illnesses and/or medication can be taken into account. The nutritionist is not liable for damages of any kind. Errors and mistakes excepted.

Feed supplements are available as capsules or tablets. The capsules have clear advantages:
Gelantine capsules consist of additional collagen and cellulose capsules are an additional dietary fibre. We use a vegan rice extract as a filler, which is not possible with tablets, which is why many other manufacturers use magnesium stearate, for example. Furthermore, an exact dosage is guaranteed by the precisely defined amount of active ingredient contained;
The capsules are preferably fed hidden in a treat or mixed in with the food. If the dog does not accept the capsule, it can simply be opened and the contents mixed into the food.
Liebes Dog Fit Team,
Bitte weiter so.
So viele begeisterte Nutzer/innen.

Unsere alte Hundedame fing an immer wieder in sehr kurzen Abständen pippi zumüssen.

Schnelle Lieferung, sehr guter Service. Weiter so!
